Geometric shapes
Geometric shapes — namely triangles — have been used in past Winter Olympics — perhaps because of their similarities to mountains or, more abstractly, pinnacles of success. Triangles and polygons continued to make frequent appearances in both graphics and sets in PyeongChang.
