Of course, just like most Olympics, the local culture, architecture and natural wonders were incorporated into the PyeongChang designs.
Although this tends to be less of a focal point than seen in Summer Olympics designs — with the snow and ice motifs taking more prominent stages, there was extensive use of the Korean lettering, patterns and other imagery.
