MSNBC’s “AM Joy” took full advantage of its recently updated video wall area on its side of Studio 3A to showcase a stunning display of possible Democratic presidential candidates.
The update, which debuted in October 2018 before the midterm elections, added tall seamless video wall on a wall that previously featured backlit panels and monitors.
In addition, a curved “ribbon” juts out from the right side of the wall, forming a sort of divider between the studio space and working newsroom area that sits between MSNBC’s side of 3A and the enclosed “NBC Nightly News” space on the opposite side of the space.
“AM Joy” used both the flat video wall and curved portion to showcase headshots of potential candidates.
