Networks take different routes for Vietnam summit coverage

ABC, meanwhile, took a different route to Vietnam — quite literally.

Anchor David Muir anchored Monday’s entire broadcast from Seoul, South Korea, which obviously has a lot of stake in any political or military changes in North Korea.

ABC used the colorful background of the Gyeongbokgung (경복궁 or 景福宮), a historic but now unused palace that is being restored as a tourist destination.
