New graphics for BBC News that debuted across its various networks on Monday, July 15, 2019. The changes appear on channels such as BBC News Channel, BBC World News, BBC news bulletins on BBC One and on regional news bulletins like BBC London.
The new design uses BBC Reith, the network’s custom typeface, for the graphics with a focus on clarity across the various insert graphics like the lower thirds, slates, bumps, headlines, promos and teases.
Branded programming, like “Newsday” and “Beyond 100 Days,” retain their unique opens and show-specific packages but have updated program logos with the new typeface.
