Set design and augmented reality for CBC and Radio-Canada’s coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.
The project included two nearly identical studios for the sister networks, with one serving English language CBC and another serving French-speaking Radio-Canada.
Augmented reality was used heavily on-set taking the place of monitor walls and providing unique storytelling opportunities during the broadcasts, powered by Vizrt. Explore more of the AR and motion graphics in this gallery.
