For over 15 years, Scott Chapin’s voice has anchored the WHDH-TV news open, but beginning in 2011, that changes.
Scott has told the station he “will cease voicework on a daily basis, and spend some sabbatical time smelling the roses.” Chapin “will continue only doing image and commercial work for select clients.”
Chapin provides voiceovers for stations across the country, but WHDH-TV has made use of him extensively with its lavishly-produced openings.
Chapin also posted an open letter to clients on his Web site announcing his semi-retirement in 2011.
