‘Multitasker’ ‘Today’ app comes to Apple devices

The new NBC News Digital app for “Today” has been released on Apple’s iOS platform after being made available on Android and Windows Mobile platforms in late July.

The new app allows users can access their favorite “Today” videos, stories, and photos in a brand new integrated, multimedia experience. The app was created by the NBC News Digital Group, a division of the NBCUniversal News Group. 

Using the new app, users can:

• Watch video while simultaneously browsing articles and photos using the “Multi-Tasker View,” a split screen experience
• Share tips and favorite stories with family and friends on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more
• Engage and express what matters most with the “Today” team through interactive surveys and by uploading personal photos
• Save stories and images to access offline anytime
