NBC augments Super Bowl with body scans, virtual elements

More traditional photography also appeared in augmented reality “towers” and team logos on each side of an NBC peacock-shaped “stage,” all of which appeared to be sitting on the field.
In some of the augment graphics, virtual tension wires are notably visible.
Wires also made an appearance in the augmented graphics used atop exterior shots of U.S. Bank stadium, where an augmented scoreboard “billboard” appeared to be suspended from an unseen floating rigging in the sky above.
These designs were accented with NBC peacocks and also inserted blurred video clips on the side of one of the stadium’s glass walls.
