Denali Media Holdings’ KTVA, CBS 11 Alaska, upgraded its video display technology earlier this year.
The station, which won NewscastStudio’s Set of the Year competition in 2014, launched its current facility and scenic design in December 2013, with set and newsroom design from Devlin Design Group.
Working with integrator Alpha Video, KTVA replaced the existing LCD monitors behind the anchor desk with a 1.9mm pixel pitch Absen LED display wall and controller.
“The quality of the image displayed is stunning,” said Erik Kuhlmann of KTVA. “From talent and operations to our viewers, the definition of the new display is beyond compare.”
