In addition to giving the feeling of motion, the italic font styling and angled box have references to the angled elements in the station’s news package.

Another element that draws inspiration from these angles is the hexagonal shape that serves as the base for backgrounds and cutouts.

The shape is used in fullscreen graphics, wipes and other elements in a variety of ways — including with bold outlines with angled lines that branch out from it — and even is used in a bokeh light effect that evokes images of stadium lights.

The base elements of the package sticks mainly to a blue, white and gray color scheme, though a bright teal and pink appear in animated lines and dots, many of which follow the dynamic angles.
