NBC showcases Across America tour in sizzle reel

NBC News has released a “sizzle reel” of Lester Holt’s Across America tour for “NBC Nightly News.”

Despite original plans to anchor Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018’s broadcast from Miami, coverage of Hurricane Michael detoured Holt to Panama City, which NBC appears to have made a de facto part of the tour.

The reel features footage taken from off the air and behind the scenes, separated by bold blue and red graphics with each city’s name.
