Lester Holt anchors ‘Nightly’ from Studio 1A on election eve

After Kate Snow used the studio Sunday night, weekday anchor Lester Holt also originated “NBC Nightly News” from Studio 1A, which has been transformed to the NBC Election Center — though Holt referred to it as the “Election Headquarters.”


During the open, NBC used a shot of an augmented reality floating “The Vote” logo over the Rockefeller Plaza ice skating rink.
