Stars shine bright in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade graphics

After switching to a banner design last year, the star theme returned to NBC’s graphics for the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The network used the previously announced gold and red logo design along with 3D gold typography with animated light bursts for the rundown of acts and appearances.

A solid version of the star was also used as a fullscreen wipe and the star also found itself used in the lower third style graphics used to identify people and key locations.
