Video on Video

Video On Video” is a term coined by NewscastStudio to describe a common shot style used in newscasts and television production today. In these shots, a camera is aimed at an on-set video wall, panel or monitor, which is display a graphic, video or other imagery. When shot using a stationary camera or without any movement besides, perhaps, a zoom, the effect is similar to showing a fullscreen graphic — but instead is capturing the image within the news studio environment. The technique can be used in conjunction with a “walk and wander” style shot, which adds more movement to the shot.
