‘New Day’ backtracks on background

Well that didn’t last long.

Yesterday NewscastStudio reported CNN’s “New Day” appeared to have changed the main anchor background on its two-month-old set by removing the structural grid that enhanced the illusion of an industrial style window behind the anchors.

Well, the same sharp eyed tipster noticed that on this morning’s broadcast, the grid has returned.
