Apple released another trailer for its upcoming news-theme “The Morning Show,” Monday, Aug. 19, 2019.

The show, which will debut as part of the company’s premium streaming service Apple TV+ this fall, will take viewers behind the scenes at a morning network news program.

The new spot, however, gives some more details about the plot and characters.

In the trailer, viewers learn that Steve Carrell’s character, Mitch Kessler, was fired from the network for unspecified reasons, leaving his co-host Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) to pick up the pieces.

Meanwhile, an up-and-coming reporter, Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson, appears to be angling for Levy’s job — with the support of network execs — but Levy fires back at the network.

Apple previewed the show at an event in April and released its first trailer a week ago.
