For weather, Vivid Zero extended the existing design motif to create a variety of data-driven visuals to help viewers better understand the world around them.

The graphics were integrated with the Max system from IBM.

All told, 48 unique looping weather conditions and 36 custom icons were created and combined with the linear look and K-point accents from the core of the identity. Those looping elements can be popped into various modules and include different cropping options depending on use.

This includes a variety of layouts ranging from an extended forecast board to current temperatures and more.

Fullscreen photography or other imagery can be inserted as a background element in many of these layouts, with weather data layered on top.

Many of these looks rely on the think line concept to delineate content areas, but linear gradients are also added prominently to the mix to boost legibility without creating a cluttered look.

In some instances, the points where multiple lines intersect feature a subtle dot, an accent that draws the eye to that area of the screen.

Vivid Zero also crafted a series of dynamic features into the weather graphics, including the ability to display a map or other larger graphic directly within the extended forecast layout, with the other days sliding aside to make room for the image, which is conveniently placed directly next to the day in question, providing viewers with key visual guidance to understand the weather better.

The seven day board can also become a 10-day version with a slick animation that condenses everything slightly.
