For its 25th anniversary in November 2021, Al Jazeera Media Network relaunched its Arabic language channel, overhauling nearly every part of its appearance.
Studio 5, which includes the main newsroom of Al Jazeera, was gutted and completely rebuilt with multiple spaces that can function independently of each other. Set 3 is the smallest of the new spaces and is designed for digital production and brief broadcast news updates.
A tracking glass wall separates the studio from the newsroom with a four-meter tall wrap-around LED display and multiple tracking LED panels layered in front making up the design. Set 3 includes multiple robotic cameras including a robotic Mark Roberts Motion Control jib.
