MSNBC
On MSNBC, the normal scheduled was followed, with the anchors updating the election as results came in.
During “All In,” Chris Hayes was mid-interview when the Virginia projection popped up in the lower-third. There was no Brian Williams to countdown to the results at the top of each hour, as has become a tradition on the network for large election nights.
Fox News
Similarly on Fox News, Tucker Carlson and company updated the results as warranted, changing gears to the President’s South Korea speech after the governor’s races were called.
Fox Business
Neil Cavuto’s normal show became a special two-hour “Election 2017” program, using the network’s Studio G in New York City. Guests of the program included other Fox Business hosts, such as Lisa Kennedy Montgomery and Trish Regan.
