ESPN’s “First Take” debuted its new studio at 7 Hudson Square on June 23, 2025, following its move from the network’s former South Street Seaport facility.
The show now broadcasts from Studio Y, internally known as Studio 2, in a space designed to resemble a luxury Manhattan penthouse.
Created by Jack Morton, the set features floor-to-ceiling LED displays that simulate sweeping city views, warm-toned finishes, and a custom curved desk that supports the show’s in-the-round debate format. The studio’s upscale aesthetic contrasts with the more casual design of “Get Up,” which also broadcasts from the same Hudson Square facility.
