Warner Bros. Discovery has built studios in Cortina d’Ampezzo and Livigno, Italy, to support live coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics across Europe on WBD Sports, Eurosport, HBO Max, Discovery Plus.

The main studio, known as WBD House, was built in the Nations Village in Cortina and includes a two-level, 600-square-meter space designed to integrate live production with views of nearby Olympic venues and the Dolomites. The studio supports a 90-person crew and uses a multi-camera setup, including aerial, RF and extended-reality cameras, to produce daily live programming during the Games.

A second studio, the Snow Dome in Livigno, was built in partnership with local organizers and features a domed structure with 360-degree views overlooking freestyle ski and snowboard competition areas.

Studio operations in Italy are paired with permanent production hubs across Europe, where analysis and review programs are produced throughout the Olympics.
